We are seeking committed individuals to join our Finance Committee and help strengthen the sustainability of our impact. This is a working committee, ideal for individuals who enjoy strategic thinking, collaboration, and contributing practical insight to mission-driven work.
The Finance Committee will support Sprinng’s long-term growth by guiding fundraising strategy, financial planning, and partnership development. Members will play an important role in shaping how Sprinng resources its programs and prepares for the future. Members may:
Contribute to fundraising and revenue strategy discussions
Share ideas around partnerships, sponsorships, and sustainable income models
Leverage professional networks where possible to support Sprinng’s growth
Review financial updates and offer strategic recommendations
Support Sprinng’s fundraising priorities and long-term planning
Serve as ambassadors of Sprinng, representing the organization’s mission, values, and work when engaging with potential partners, donors, and collaborators.
Finance Committee members are expected to:
Commit to quarterly Finance Committee meetings, and beginning/middle/end-of-year Board meetings.
Make a $500 annual give/get financial commitment. This commitment may be fulfilled through (“give”) a personal one-time/monthly donation or (“get”) securing donations from other individuals and organizations.

Who Should Apply:
We welcome applications from individuals with an arts/humanities background, creative writing experience, and/or interest in finance, fundraising, partnerships, nonprofit sustainability, or corporate social responsibility, especially those who are excited to support African writers and help shape the future of African literature.
